Good morning, As I sit here drinking my morning cup of Java with my FAVORITE hazelnut coffeemate ( yes I cannot live without it!), I am just reliving a great time of my life.........High School. How I enjoyed high school, I was very popular, involved in everything there could be, on the softball team, Star of the drama and glee club, ( I am a classically trained singer), remembering how easy life was back then, the most I worried about was how many tests I had, or that paper that I needed to type ( There was no microsoft word, or if there was I didn't know about it, it was my panasonic electric typewritter), or what I was going to wear to the dance!
I am very excited about tomorrow, for it is my 25 high school reunion. What I worry about now, is what will I wear, who will entertain Rebecca, while her dad coaches Christina's softball team ( oh and I am missing opening day of softball here in Hillsdale), and should I take the minivan and look like a surburban soccer mom, or drive the car in to the city (I live in New Jersey, and grew up in NYC), and then I need to remember quarters for the parking meters or I'll get a ticket..............The list goes on and on!
Yes life was so much easier when we didn't know any better, when it was our parents job to do the worrying. Despite this, I am so excited, and plan on putting on the waterproof mascara, because there is definitely one thing that has not changed, I am just as mushy and emotional as I was back then, and I know that time will never change this!
